Mr. Dauphinais has significant experience in the field of fitness and wellness as a wellness director, exercise physiologist, coach, and athlete. He has trained and coached over two thousand individuals ranging from elite athletes to high risk cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and bariatric medicine patients. He has taught courses in Personal Training , Sports Nutrition, and Advanced Personal Training for the International Fitness Professionals Association, IFPA, since 1995. Karl was selected the IFPA's Faculty Member of the Year in 1996. He is a contributing author of the IFPA's The Book on Personal Training and The Book on Sports Nutrition.
 
Mr. Dauphinais's clinical experience includes working in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation at Providence Hospital and serving as the Director of Wellness and Nutrition for the American Wellness Medical Clinic. Mr. Dauphinais has served as the Editor and Publisher for the Fitness/Wellness Times News Magazine, the Director of Education and Resource Development for the National Association for Adult Fitness, and as the founder and head coach of the Gulf Coast Area Triathletes and the Swim Split Swim ClinicsTM. As a coach, Mr. Dauphinais has assisted numerous swimmers and triathletes in achieving their potential on limited time schedules. Not one to just sit back and watch, Karl has been a three-time All-American Triathlete, member of the USA Triathlon National Age-Group Team, and finisher of the Hawaii Ironman.
