Peggie Williamson, MS, CHES

Peggie Williamson achieved her Masters degree in Health Promotion and Health Education as well as in Nutrition.  She gained a broad range of experience in the health and fitness industry setting up corporate wellness programs, group fitness training programs, preventive health activities, and health education for organizations including the NASA Langley Research Center, Childrens Hospital for the Kings Daughters, Sentara Health Systems, For Women Only Fitness Center, and Riverside Wellness and Fitness Center.

Peggies extensive experience in group fitness instruction includes step, hi/low impact combination, circuit training, interval training, boot camp, aqua, cardio kickboxing, body sculpting, stretching and abdominals, and sports conditioning.  She has also worked with many special populations including expectant mothers and seniors.

Peggie is currently a professor in the Science Department at Central Texas College where she teaches Anatomy & Physiology I and Nutrition and Diet Therapy.  She is also involved with reviewing published text books for McGraw Hill Publishing while also working on her own books for future publication.  In addition, she continues to operate her own part-time health, nutrition, and exercise consulting business which includes personal training and counseling for clients on how to make positive lifestyle changes.  In her spare time, Peggie volunteers for the American Red Cross for which she teaches Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid.
