This is just a small sample of actual letters received at the IFPA daily. The accolades you read here are repeated over and over again by IFPA Certified Fitness Professionals the world over. We are the best at what we do, that has always been our goal, but we don’t say it –our students say it! |

IFPA Staff and
Instructors, I would like to thank you
personally for your friendliness, professionalism, and most important
for the opportunity for the distance training study. Thank you for your
time in grading this test. My answers are long and somewhat redundant at
times. This test was not used to just get a grade. I used this test to
thoroughly answer the questions and explain further on some of the
questions so, as with taking the test I would retain the knowledge by
writing it down. So…I do apologize for the lengthy answers, yet please
remember, this is more that a test for me, it is a goal, a dream, it is
a “calling”. So Thanks for your time! There is a blank page inserted
between each page, because the lead was “bleeding” on the other
sheet! I was in a health club for four
years as the owner watched me do two a days and never told me what I was
doing wrong. I did many things wrong. I could have harmed myself. I
didn’t, I was one of the lucky ones! I went to a major bookstore,
bought several books and taught myself. Only then did I start to see
results. I often think back to the owner of the Fitness Center…and I
am baffled to understand why he would want to be in the profession…OH
YE$…Duh MONEY! Needles to say I am no longer a member there! (Now for
the worst part, the was a personal trainer…NOT IFPA trained of
course!). After studying this course, I found
some discrepancy even in the exercise books, which I used! (one of the
books was “Getting Stronger” by Bill Pearl) The book, I will
continue to use, yet I will use the correct information/guidelines set
by the IFPA. So thanks for the correct information! Education is
a wonderful thing! Thanks to the IFPA! Knowledge is power!
I must say your course was challenging and exciting. The chapter on
muscle fiber type…wow! I made several trips to the library! Very
interesting, the human machine! Intriguing! Thanks!. I am looking forward to the other
courses offered by the IFPA with excitement. I want always to seek
knowledge, striving to be the best version of me! My quote is “Accept
the challenge so that you feel the exhilaration of victory!” I love
the criteria set by the IFPA, the education, the “calling which I
totally believe it is …and the strict code of conduct. To this, I say
thank you. I screamed when I read Abraham Maslow, psychological theories
of the “hierarchy of needs”. It is so true---self-actualization I
had been discussing this with friends and to see it in print! It was
phenomenal! This course was so much more than I expected… so again to
the staff I say THANK YOU. I am a career oriented female with
14 years in outside sales. I would strive to be an asset to the IFPA and
represent your organization to the best of my ability. I am
self-motivated, dependable, committed, reliable thorough, (sometime to
thorough as you read the practical) and efficient. I built my business
on cold calls and I have maintained the same customer base throughout
the years. I love people! I believe life is a spectator sport. I have
learned to watch and listen, people are fascinating and funny! My goal as well as my quote that
goes on all my business cards/letters it sums up the person that I am.
The quote that is typed on my business card and business letters is
this: Earning the right to do business
with you! First, it is a dream…then it is a
goal! At first dreams seem impossible…then improbable…then
eventually inevitable!
