Please understand that there is no “Rich vs. Poor
Conspiracy .” The simple fact is that those who are RICH
and those who are getting RICH do very different things
than those who are POOR and those who are getting POOR.
I would like to remind you that I wrote you a FitBit on
August 18, 2003 on
12 books I recommed for your
personal development. Three of the books were for your
personal financial development. Did you READ them? Did
you STUDY them? Did you LEARN from them? Did you develop
your own PLAN to becoming RICH ? Did you IMPLEMENT the
PLAN ? How well did you EXECUTE the PLAN ? Did you take
a critical look: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and
yearly to determine how well you were EXECUTING the PLAN
? WHY ? or WHY NOT ?
You need to be reminded that the definition of insanity
is doing the same thing over and over again and
expecting a different result. Last week the news
reported that Holiday Sales hit a new record high…that
will make the RICH – RICHER! This week the news reported
that retailers will have difficulty over the next three
months because Consumer Credit Card Debt hit a new
record high…that will make the POOR – POORER. Now all
those people that overspent for the Holidays will be
stuck paying very high interest rates on the money they
don’t have. And, that’s it…there is your “RICH vs. POOR
Conspiracy ,” the RICH EARN INTEREST and the POOR PAY
INTEREST!
None of this is a Great News Flash! You may have gotten
yourself into a “RUT” that at times feels like you are
at the bottom of the Grand Canyon! You know how you got
there … bad habits, after all, a “RUT” is a track worn
by wheels or habitual passage of something and your
personal “RUT” is caused by your usual habitual fixed
routine of unnecessary spending. Here is the worst part:
by the time you hit the bottom of the canyon, you don’t
have enough income to pay the interest, the late fees,
the over-the-limit fees, the NSF fees and THE YOU DON’T
HAVE ENOUGH MONEY FEES, so where is the money going to
come from to pay down the principal on the debt? By
necessity you are going to have to GROW YOUR INCOME to
get OUT OF DEBT.
I have developed a plan to GROW YOUR INCOME, but before
you read any further, I want you to stop for a moment
and think about YOUR WANTS AND NEEDS –FIRST! If you
follow my plan you WILL GROW YOUR INCOME, but in order
for that to become a solution to your problem is going
to require your discipline and a comprehension of the
difference between WANTS AND NEEDS. If you follow my
plan and grow your income, you may WANT to buy a new car
or a new house or new cloths or many other things –
STUFF – that the WIZARDS of Advertising have convinced
you – YOU NEED, but the reality is all STUFF is WANTS!
What you NEED is to free yourself from the “shackles of
debt !” What you NEED is to eliminate the STRESS caused
by financial hardships. What you NEED is financial
independence that comes from becoming debt free with
money in the bank. What you NEED is to become RICH!
What you NEED to do immediately is follow the plan I
have outlined for you below. Read the plan. Study the
plan. Learn the plan. Execute the plan. Work the plan
and take the money you make and pay off all your debts
and start to save and invest. Most importantly: dedicate
yourself to never again getting into financial hardship.
Instead, become RICH, and after that…GET RICHER!
The IFPA Plan:
1. Recognize there is a limit to how many hours you can
work a week performing personal training without burning
yourself out. You need an additional source of income
that will not require the emotional drain and fatiguing
nature of personal training, but it should be a source
of income that is developed by helping your clients to
fulfill their fitness, health, and nutrition and
longevity goals.
2. You already know that Nutrition is 80% of the battle
when it comes to helping your clients achieve their
goals. You also know that there is such a plethora of
conflicting information about nutrition that your
clients (and sometimes yourself) are confused on what,
when and how to eat.
3. The IFPA has developed two programs to get your
through steps 1 and 2: the IFPA
Sports Nutrition
Certification will give you the knowledge you need to
educate your clients on what’s healthy and what’s not
and will answer the what, when and how questions and
much, much more. The IFPA
Weight Management Instructor
Certification comes with American Dietetic Association
(ADA) Approved Nutrition, Diet and meal planning
software that will enable you to provide healthy and
nutritious diet planning for your clients – customized
for their goals, needs and taste buds. It even comes
with programming capabilities for you to enter your own
supplement recommendations to speed up their gains. Call
the IFPA right now at (800) 785-1924 and order. You know
that I don’t always have time to return calls and emails
as quickly as I would like (or you would like), but I do
hear the problems you are facing so I am authorizing
payment plans for you on this program (CODE NAME: IFPA
Nutrition Programmer). If you are
“In-Debt-Up-To-My-Eyeballs” and need some help – your
IFPA personnel are authorized to help – they will give
you the details when you call, but they will find a
payment structure that works for you. If you are one of
the IFPA’s RICH members, I will give you a 15% discount
on the cost of the entire program – including the
software package.
4. I am also including FREE the IFPA Business Planning
Guide and Workbook for you to use to maximize your
existing Personal Training Business as well as your new
Weight Management Instructor / Sports Nutrition
Business. USE IT! PLAN YOUR WORK AND WORK YOUR PLAN!
5. I have prepared a flyer for your use to advertise and
market your new Weight Management Instructor / Sports
Nutrition Services to your clients, past clients, and
the new clients you will get as a result of this new
business. You can download it from the IFPA website.
6. The next FitBit will have tactics, strategies, client
objections and answers to those objections all designed
to help you “close” more business, help more people and
grow your income.
