Get involved! Certified Personal Trainers are being asked to participate as volunteers in the presentation by assisting with the recording of body assessments of the students (birthdate, height, weight, blood pressure, skinfolds) and demonstrations of band tubing exercises which are given out as part of the complementary bag of health and fitness products.  All trainers will receive an official video copy of the event. Trainers will be given the opportunity to be part of the follow-up procedure with students at the schools by visiting the schools with the athletes as well as any employment possibilities that will be created with the schools on a consulting basis through IFPA. Trainers can participate in potential media coverage if interested.

Participants in this program will volunteer their time to visit selected junior high and high schools to teach healthy food choices to students over a 2day period, each event will take 2hours to complete. The program kickoffs on March 05th in such cities as Akron, D.C., Philadelphia, Oakland, Detroit.

All expenses (amenities) for the event will be provided.
Earn CEU's for participation.

Candidates must have a personal training certification with a major certification organization and/or degree or partial degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training or another related degree. Candidate must be extroverted, speak clearly, have good presentation skills and have the ability to explain the benefits of fitness. Must be a self-starter, goal oriented and organized.

Job Description:
Candidate will conduct fitness assessments, assess the fitness level of members utilizing fitness software and following certain protocol. Will present members with a recommended fitness routine and perform fitness orientations by teaching members proper usage of equipment and explaining benefits. May be required to assist in outside health fairs and give fitness related presentations. Must develop a client base and fulfill administrative duties. In addition, fitness floor assistance is required whereby the candidate monitors the fitness floor, answers questions, corrects improper technique, assists members and maintains the fitness equipment and surrounding area in clean and good order.

Full-time and part-time available.
