Intermediate & Advanced Strength Training for Kids CEC (6 credits)

This course is designed to further the knowledge of all fitness professionals with an emphasis on strength training for young athletes. This is not a certification course. It is an education program to be used by all fitness professionals striving to raise their level of professionalism.

This continuing education program will help you to safely and effectively design intermediate and advanced resistance-training programs for children, especially young athletes. Resistance training should be a part a total fitness program. Intermediate and Advanced Strength Training for Kids continuing education course, provides clear instruction for over 100 strength exercises for all major muscle groups for ages 7 through 18. It will assist you in creating 16 sport-specific exercise programs as well as teach you techniques to keep children motivated to stay on the healthy path of exercise.
