Secrets to Happiness
By Jim Bell, President - IFPA
In all honesty I wake-up everyday
planning to do everything on the list below. But as you probably know
already – Life is what happens when you’re making other plans. My New
Years resolution is to start journaling again and I’m going to give
myself points for every time I do something on the list and take points
away if I do something contrary to the list. Why don’t you give it a try
and see what happens?
- Hope.
- Dream.
- Forget.
- Forgive.
- Be polite.
- Be patient.
- Apologize.
- Play hard.
- Work hard.
- Admit errors.
- Conqueror fear.
- Avoid mistakes.
- Listen to advice.
- Love completely.
- Be understanding.
- Keep your temper.
- Give compliments.
- Shoulder the blame.
- Strive for excellence.
- Make the best of things.
- Maintain high standards.
- Think first and act accordingly.
- Put needs of others before your own.
- If angry count to 10, if very angry count to 100.
- Don’t sweat the small stuff – everything is small stuff.
