Good Morning Dr. Bell, I have read a lot of good things about Lentils, but I never see them recommended in any food plans. Would you recommended adding Lentils to my meal planning?
You are correct! Lentils may be one of the most overlooked of the Superfoods! Those in the know, consider them to be among the world’s healthiest foods!
Lentils are an excellent source of molybdenum and folate. They are very good source of dietary fiber, copper, phosphorous, manganese, iron, protein, vitamin B-1, pantothenic acid, zinc, potassium and vitamin B-6. This is an incredible amount of nutrition packed into such a small caloric package!
Yes, I would highly recommend that all trainers, incorporate lentils in their meal planning!
