There aren’t many other acute hip problems. Andthose are so obvious that, as with hip pointers, itwould be surprising if you had to be persuaded tosee a doctor. Fractures fall into that category, as doother, less well-defined problems with the hip jointitself. As a general rule, if you have a serious hipjoint injury you’ll experience substantial loss ofmotion, and you won’t be able to bear weight on thejoint. It will hurt, a lot, deep in the hip. These injuriesshould be seen by a physician.
