The IFPA is VA approved! All of our certifications can be reimbursed by the VA.

3. Select Country: USA

How Does the VA Reimbursement Process Work?

Military members that are eligible for GI BILL benefits, must first purchase a certification, and once they pass the exam, will then be reimbursed by the VA. Also, the VA will reimburse you for retest fees.

Options:

If you are a Veteran or Active Duty you will need to fill out Form 22-1990
If you are an eligible child or spouse, you need to fill out Form 22-5490
Instead of filling out these forms and mailing them to your regional office, there is an option to fill out all this info online, when you speak to an IFPA representative, make sure you inquire about this process.

You must submit a receipt of purchase along with documentation of your grade.

Finally, you must either submit Form 22-0803 or attach a note with the following information:

Title: Request for Reimbursement
Your Name
Your Social Security Number
The Name and Address of Organization
The Name and Date of the test you took
Cost of the Test
The following statement: “I authorize the release of my test information to the VA.”

To sum up:

Form 22-1990 or Form 22-5490 (or online option)
Receipt of Purchase
Documentation of your Grade
Form 22-0803 or attach note with the above information

You will then compile all this information and send it in to your regional office.
