Fitness and Health Specialist

Coach the whole person with a health-first approach to fitness. In the Fitness and Health Specialist certification, you’ll screen for readiness and risk, interpret basic health markers, and design safe programs that blend strength, cardio, and mobility. Learn behavior change, habit systems, and motivational interviewing to turn goals into daily actions; pair training with practical nutrition, sleep, and stress strategies; and adapt for common concerns like weight management, hypertension, diabetes risk, and low back pain. You’ll progress intensity intelligently, teach recovery basics, and use simple metrics to track what matters—strength, endurance, movement quality, and lifestyle adherence—so clients build durable fitness and better health, not just short-term results.
