Ingredients
  • 1 slice whole-grain or sprouted bread
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 2 oz smoked salmon
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • Red pepper flakes to taste
Directions
  1. Toast your slice of whole-grain or sprouted bread to your preferred crispiness.
  2. In a small bowl, mash the avocado flesh together with the fresh lemon juice using a fork.
  3. Spread the mashed avocado evenly across the warm piece of toast.
  4. Layer the slices of smoked salmon neatly on top of the avocado bed.
